PROJECT CARD

Visegrad for Reviving Vernacular Heritage

The project Visegrad for Reviving Vernacular Heritage connects young professionals, experts, and local artisans from Serbia and V4 countries to preserve the unique architectural heritage of Gostuša, the "Stone Village." Through field-based learning, hands-on training in traditional techniques, and study visits to V4 sites, participants gain practical skills in conservation and sustainable design. The project fosters knowledge exchange across generations and borders, inspiring new climate-responsive architectural concepts rooted in vernacular traditions. It strengthens regional cooperation, promotes heritage-driven tourism, and supports long-term cultural and economic revitalization in Central and Eastern Europe.

Project duration

01/06/2025 – 31/05/2026

Total budget
